On Feb. 7, 2018, Rivera drove to a hotel in the 1200 block of East Garvey Street in Covina and parked his vehicle in front of a room where two young girls were staying.

The defendant then entered the hotel room and inappropriately touched one of the girls, the prosecutor said.
