Westminster School District provides FREE workshops to parents

Westminster, CA – Westminster School District is proud to announce the bi-annual Parent Conference on November 8 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. at Warner Middle School (141471 Newland St. Westminster, CA 92683). The district offers the Fall Parent Conference to provide families with an opportunity to engage and interact with staff one-on-one in an informal setting where they can learn more about how to enhance their child’s educational journey.

Our keynote speaker, Josh Drean will kick-off the event, followed by free food, workshops, and WSD INSPIRES! gifts. A few of the topics that will be discussed include; College Readiness, teaching children positive relationships, Dual Immersion, parent engagement, and family literacy. For the full list of workshops just head to our district website.

WSD encourages everyone in the community to learn more during these essential workshops; that can provide a strong foundation and platform for families to be intuitive about their child’s education. Translation is available for our Spanish and Vietnamese speakers throughout the night. This is open to the public and we encourage everyone in the community to attend!

We invite the media to join us and learn more about why WSD continues to be a destination district for both students and parents. For media interested in coordinating interviews or need additional information, reach out to Tony Phan at tqphan@wsdk8.us. We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Parent Conference.
