About the JPL Invention Challenge:

The JPL Invention Challenge is a prestigious competition that emphasizes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) skills in a dynamic setting. The challenge integrates creativity, team-building, designing, fabrication, testing, and problem-solving into an intellectually rewarding contest. Each year presents a unique contest, maintaining an element of surprise and complexity for participants.

Sycamore Junior High School’s role as the host is particularly noteworthy, as the school has successfully competed in this event for years, often against high school teams. Taking on the responsibility of hosting represents a significant milestone and underscores the school’s commitment to fostering STEAM education.
