Residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the General Plan Update process.
IRVINE, Calif. (October 17, 2023): The City of Irvine is preparing an update to its General Plan, a state-required document representing its vision for the next 25 years and beyond. The 2045 General Plan Update will include goals and policies to help the City reach its long-term vision of preserving and enhancing Irvine’s high quality of life as the City matures.
The General Plan Update’s success relies on input from community members, landowners, and other stakeholders to shape future planning vision and goals.
Three community workshops will be held to provide more information about the Update as we focus on the land use, circulation, and safety and noise elements. Residents are encouraged to join the community workshops to learn and provide input about the General Plan Update, as well as future plans in the project schedule.
