Stocks ends week trading mixed

Wall Street stocks closed on Friday with mixed results as investors continue to keep watch over the developing war between Israel and Hamas, and after major U.S. Banks posted higher than expected earnings.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.12% to 33,670.29 and was the only index to end the week trading in the green.
The S&P 500 dropped 0.50% to 4,327.78 while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite retreated1.23% to end at 13,407.23.
Stocks came off their gains earlier in the week after a report Friday from the University of Michigan showed a spike in inflation expectations and waning consumer confidence.
