Cathay Bank’s Brea Branch Grand Opening: Strengthening Community Ties and Financial Prosperity

LOS ANGELES – Cathay Bank marked the grand opening of its newest branch in Brea, California, with a celebration that brought together community leaders, clients, and bank executives on September 26.

The grand opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Chang M. Liu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cathay General Bancorp and Cathay Bank, who delivered the opening remarks. Mr. Liu emphasized Cathay Bank’s dedication to serving the local community, stating, “our commitment goes beyond banking; it’s about building trust, fostering growth, and creating opportunities. We are excited to embark on this journey with Brea, and together, we will build a brighter and more prosperous future for Brea.”

The Mayor of Brea, Marty Simonoff, took the stage to give a heartfelt speech during the event, where he not only extended a warm welcome to Cathay Bank, but also presented a certificate to Chang M. Liu. In his address, Mayor Simonoff spoke about the significance of Cathay Bank’s presence in Brea and the positive impact it will bring to the city.

The Brea Branch brings a new style of service, with comfortable reception areas to provide a more personalized experience to its clients. It is located at 2415 E. Imperial Hwy., Suite 101, Brea, CA 92821.

Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday; 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday; and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday.
