RCAO 2021 Virtual Arts Gala Held in Celebration of Lantern Festival

Los Angeles—In celebration of the Lantern Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the first month of lunar calendar, a virtual arts performance was held on Feb. 26th  via Liuchixiang, a live broadcasting platform.

The online gala, hosted by Roundtable of Southern California Chinese-American Organizations (RCAO), drew more than 2 million person-times around the world.

“Though we don’t have fancy stage and professional acting skills and audio equipment, we have passion for life, and spirits for confronting challenges,” said Phoebe Chan, the producer of the event, who serves as the president of RCAO.  “I wish the event would bring happiness to everyone, and leave a beautiful memory for the new year.”

The RCAO 2021 arts performance can be viewed via YouTube, Youku, iQIYI, Tencent video, bilibili, sohu video and other platforms.
