SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Ed Chau (D – Monterey Park) was recently presented with the “2018 Legislator of the Year” Award from the California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA) for his support of educational technologists to foster student success.
“I am honored to have been chosen for this recognition, and look forward to working with CETPA on ensuring that the needs of our students are met, as we continue to integrate technology into the classroom.”
The California Educational Technology Professionals Association is an association of Educational Technology Professionals (technologists) within the State of California. Founded in 1960 as the California Educational Data Processing Association, the major emphasis of the association’s activities are directed towards improving Administrative Information Processing in public education within the State of California and to prepare its membership to better meet and support the technological needs of the Instructional Program.
