Covina, CA–A 39-year-old woman was charged today with the murder of her 2-year-old son, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Xa Dinh Ngo, a.k.a. Michelle Ngo, (dob 4/9/79) of Covina faces one count of murder with a special allegation that she personally used a deadly and dangerous weapon, a knife.
The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned today in Department F of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pomona Branch.
On Jan. 11, Ngo allegedly stabbed the toddler multiple times resulting in death, prosecutors said.
Bail is requested at $2 million. Ngo faces a possible maximum sentence of 26-years-to-life in state prison.
