Community Gathers to Celebrate the Grand Opening Campaign Office of U.S. Representative Ed Royce and Assemblymember Ling Ling Chang

Rowland Heights – With campaign yard signs decorated along the walls, U.S. Representative Ed Royce (R-39th District) and Assemblymember Ling Ling Chang (R-Diamond Bar) kicked off the grand opening of a campaign office in Rowland Heights.

Community members and leaders packed the office to celebrate with U.S. Representative Royce and Assemblymember Chang. Some notable elected officials who attended the grand opening include Tony Torng, Walnut Valley Unified School District; Dr. Joseph Chang, Hacienda La Puenta Unified School District; Jimmy Lin, City Councilman for the city of Diamond Bar; Ted Ebenkamp with the Rowland Heights Community College and his wife Lynne Ebenkamp with the Rowland Unified School District; Bob Pacheco with the Walnut City Council and his wife, Gayle; and John Forbing, former Mayor of Diamond Bar.

“Assemblywoman Ling Ling Chang and I appreciate the great turnout for our new campaign headquarters in Rowland Heights and the support of the API community. We welcome all interested to join our team at our campaign office,” said U.S. Representative Ed Royce, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

“Campaigns are supported by the efforts of community leaders and constituents who believe in the candidates. U.S. Representative Ed Royce and I continue to strive to work for the Asian Pacific Islander community in our districts. We are thankful for the support and faith in us,” said Assemblymember Ling Ling Chang who is running for the office of State Senate in district 29. Senator Bob Huff has endorsed Chang for State Senator. He will be leaving office in November 2018 due to term limits.

The Rowland Heights office is the second campaign office for both Royce and Chang.    It is located at 2416 Fullerton Road. Last month, Royce and Chang opened an office in Brea. Both offices will be opened 7 days a week from now until Tuesday, November 8th.
