Fullerton, CA–the American Chinese Athlete Association hosted a grand event today in celebration of its 8th anniversary and the Mid-Autumn Festival at the campus of CSU Fullerton.  A number of Olympians, world champions, NGOs, sponsors, and guests gathered to witness and share this unforgettable time.

Cha Xinxiu, a well-known player of the Chinese Women’s Volleyball team, Shen Fumin, a famed player of the Chinese Men’s Volleyball team, Li Mingzhu, former Chinese figure skating coach, Li Huan, the president of ACAA, Gao Sheng, the chairman of ACAA board of directors, Li Yizhi, a world champion of women’s volleyball, Cheng Ying and Peng Yun, world badminton champions, Guo Linyue, a world gymnastics champion , Wu Guonian, a world gymnastics champion, Li Deliang, a world diving champion, and other athletic elites were among the attendees of the above event.

Li Hua, president of ACAA reviewed in his speech the glorious history of the association over the past eight years, and expressed his appreciation to all the members for their steadfast support.  “ACAA did not pause its job even during the pandemic.  Instead the organization has been elevated to a higher and newer level.”

According to ACAA, since its establishment, the institution has actively participated in various sports activities advocated by various sports organizations in Southern California. For example, it supported and participated in the “Ready, Set, Gold” school sports promotional events in Los Angeles, and hosted a series of activities in promoting the Los Angeles Olympic Games, and attended various sports events organized by the Southern California Olympic Committee, Los Angeles 84 Foundation, and Los Angeles Sports Commission.

It is learned that ACAA will conduct in-depth collaboration with the Los Angeles Sports Commission in promoting the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
