Los Angeles—The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) announces 10 new acquisitions for its permanent collection during the museum’s 37th Collectors Committee fundraiser, including key pieces by Nick Cave, Max Ernst, Theater Gates, Miyoko Ito, Moriguchi Kunihiko, Bernardo Polo, and Analia Saban, as well as design and textile works from across the globe. Since 1986, Collectors Committee weekend has been one of the museum’s most important fundraising events and continues to enable major acquisitions for every area of its encyclopedic collection. This year, 70 voting members raised over $2 million for art acquisitions.
