OC Health Care Agency Issues Harbor Water Closure

(Santa Ana, California)  – The OC Health Care Agency, Environmental Health Division, has closed the harbor water area 100 yards north and 100 yards south of the Warner Public Dock in Huntington Beach due to a sewage spill.

The sewage spill of approximately 250 gallons was caused by an accidental release from a boat’s holding tank at the Huntington Harbour. The affected harbor water area will remain closed to ocean water-contact sports until the results of follow-up water quality monitoring meet acceptable standards.
