14 Community Leaders Come Together to Represent the San Gabriel Valley

San Gabriel Valley — In January 2021, residents across California will be able to participate in Assembly Democratic Elections to help decide the direction of the California Democratic Party. In Assembly District 49, which includes large portions of the west San Gabriel Valley, 14 diverse community leaders have come together and formed the San Gabriel Valley Justice Democrats.

This slate of incredible individuals consists of nurses, labor leaders, educators, progressives and environmental advocates who are determined to fight for policies that will positively impact residents of the San Gabriel Valley. All of them are committed to using their voice to address the housing crisis, establish Medicare for All, tackle climate change, create racial justice, uplift communities of color, and provide immediate COVID-19 relief to all who are struggling.

They are the only team in the race that truly represents the diversity of the San Gabriel Valley. Their years of experience and advocacy in their respective fields make each of them uniquely equipped to address the needs of our communities.

The San Gabriel Valley Justice Democrats are endorsed by Congressmember Judy Chu, Assemblyman Ed Chau, and LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis.
