Coronavirus Update: California Has 145,643 Confirmed Cases and 4,989 Deaths

Sacramento–California now has 145,643 confirmed cases and 4,989 deaths, according the latest update from the California Department of Public Health.

As of June 12, there have been 2,724,393 tests conducted in California and reported to the California Department of Public Health. This represents an increase of 62,135 tests over the prior 24-hour reporting period.

As of June 12, local health departments have reported 11,969 confirmed positive cases in health care workers and 70 deaths statewide.

California is now in early Stage 2 of its re-opening plan, where retail, related logistics and manufacturing, office workplaces, limited personal services, outdoor museums, childcare, and essential businesses can open with modifications.
