Republican Congressional Candidate Young Kim Visits US News Express

San Dimas – Young Kim, the Republican candidate for the 39th Congressional district of California, paid a visit on August 3rd to the headquarters of US News Express, a bilingual news outlet located in San Dimas.

Kim met with Zhuo Liu , president of US News Express, to discuss issues concerning the Asian community with regard to immigration, public safety and education. Kim is ready to sprint ahead in the coming election and hopes to gain support from the 39th district’s Chinese community.

Kim, who secured first place with 22% of the vote in the June primary, is ready to face Democratic candidate Gil Cisneros in November.

With current representative Ed Royce retiring, Democrats seeks to flip off the 39th district, a district traditionally held by Republicans.  The 39th district covers parts of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, including Fullerton, La Habra and La Habra heights, Anaheim Hills, Chino Hills, Yorba Linda, Brea, Buena Park,  Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights and Rowland Heights.

Liu congratulated Kim on her victory in the primary, expressing her willingness to continue to support her efforts for local Asian communities.

Being confident and determined, Kim hopes to continue to do what she does everyday to serve the voters of the 39th district. In preparing for the general election, Kim plans to attend activities in various cities within her districts to get to know her voters as much as possible.

Kim said that it is her goal to make sure the voice of every voter can be heard. and she asks voters in Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights, and Hacienda Heights, which all have large asian communities, for their support.
