Los Angeles—The International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Los Angeles Advisory Board hosted its 2018 Youth Leadership Training Workshop and 7th Annual Installation Luncheon on March 24 in Los Angeles.
Jesse Hong and Judy Tsai will co-chair ILF Los Angeles Advisory Board for the following year.
According to Chiling Tong, the founder of ILF, ILF National Advisory Boards organize workshops for high school students year-round to develop Asian and Pacific American (APA) youth into future leaders.
The luncheon also includes the presentation of Youth Leadership Award. Three local high school students were awarded scholarship for their excellent young leadership, academic records, passion for communities, and successfully completion of the LEAP Foundation Workshop.
“I feel privileged to receive 2018 ILF Los Angeles Advisory Board scholarship,” said Justin Pei, a Lutheran High School La Verne student and a member of NJROTC program. “Thanks to ILF leadership training program, I have been encouraged to get more involved in the community, and serve with honor the people around me, the society, and our country as a whole.”
The ILF L.A. Advisory Board has empowered both established and next generations of APA leaders in business, community development, and public service through its own workshop, luncheon, and scholarships for many years.
