Beverly Hills Announces Its Chinese New Year Celebration

BEVERLY HILLS ANNOUNCES ITS CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION, SPONSORED BY DELTA AIR LINES, STEFANO RICCI AND TWO RODEO Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau CEO, Julie Wagner, traveled to China to announce the destination’s fourth year of collaboration for a special event with China.

BEIJING, China – October 13, 2017 – Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau (BHCVB) held a press conference today in Beijing to announce its partnership with China International Culture Association (CICA) and the Beijing Association for Culture Exchange (BACE) to jointly host the fourth “Happy Chinese New Year, Charming Jing Jin Ji” in Beverly Hills on February 10 and 11, 2018.

This is the seventh consecutive year of Beverly Hills hosting a Chinese New Year celebratory event. For a second year in a row, Beverly Hills is pleased to have the support of Delta Air Lines as the event’s official airline and sponsor as well as sponsorship from Stefano Ricci and Two Rodeo.

Many of the city’s hotels will create bespoke packages to welcome Year of the Dog, including: Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Maison 140, Montage Beverly Hills, Mosaic Hotel, The Beverly Hilton, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. GP Deva X-Power Gallery, Montage Beverly Hills, Nespresso, Only In Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hilton’s Circa 55, The Spa on Rodeo, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Winn Slavin Fine Art and others will provide Lucky Draw prizes for the VIP reception.

The 2018 Chinese New Year event will be divided into three parts: a variety show, a “Charming Jing Jin Ji” photo exhibition and an intangible cultural heritage handicrafts display and demonstration. The variety show will be undertaken by the Performing groups from Beijing, Tian Jin and Hebei with the Chinese Acrobatics, martial arts, folk music, Beijing opera and other forms of performance.
