ONTARIO, CA – The Phillip Chen for Assembly campaign is proud to announce receiving the endorsement of the San Bernardino County Republican Party.
Chen received a majority of the votes on the first ballot:
- Phillip Chen – 20
- Mike Spence – 8
- Ray Marquez – 2
- Steve Tye – 1
The endorsement comes on the heels of Chen receiving the endorsement from the San Bernardino County and Mojave Desert Young Republicans. He is also the only candidate endorsed by the California Republican Assembly.
“I am proud to receive the endorsement of the San Bernardino County Republican Party and to have earned the trust our party’s grassroots activist,” said Chen. “When elected I will continue to fight for our conservative values and work with our grassroots community to grow our party from the bottom up.”
The 55th Assembly District is split between Orange, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties.
