Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Tickets Go on Sale Ahead of Highly Anticipated 2026 Opening
LOS ANGELES- Tickets for the highly anticipated Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will go on sale Tuesday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT, ahead of the museum’s public opening on September 22, 2026.
Located in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park, the museum was founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson to celebrate the power of visual storytelling. The museum’s collection spans centuries of narrative art, from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary film and digital works.
General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $21 for seniors ages 65 and older. Children 17 and under, museum members, and their guests will receive free admission.
The 300,000-square-foot museum was designed by architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects in collaboration with Stantec. The project also includes an 11-acre public park designed by Studio-MLA, creating a new cultural and community space in Los Angeles.
Museum officials expect strong demand for tickets and recommend visitors create an account in advance and prepare multiple visit dates before reservations open.
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is scheduled to welcome visitors beginning September 22, 2026.
