ASPIRE PAC Congratulates Connie Chan on Advancing to November General Election

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders Rising & Empowering Political Action Committee (ASPIRE PAC) Chair Marilyn Strickland released the following statement congratulating Connie Chan (CA-11) on advancing to the November general election:

“San Francisco is one step closer to electing its first Chinese American member of Congress—a historic opportunity for a district that is nearly one-third AAPI. As an immigrant, Connie deeply understands the issues that matter most for not only Asian American residents, but also everyday San Franciscans, and she will fight to ensure our communities are safe and their voices heard. ASPIRE looks forward to continuing to support Connie and ensuring San Francisco’s diverse communities have a stronger voice in Washington.”
