SAN DIMAS, CA (May 31, 2026) The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation (LA County Parks), in coordination with LA County Board of Supervisors, is proud to introduce Lucky Strike Entertainment as the new managing entity of Raging Waters, California’s largest waterpark. A Grand Season Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Sunday, May 31. The community celebration welcomed Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Parks and Recreation officials, Lucky Strike Executives, and San Dimas business leaders to mark a pivotal milestone for the historic waterpark.

The event marked a critical turning point for the iconic 40-year-old regional waterpark. Since taking over the waterpark’s ownership, Lucky Strike Entertainments has committed to a comprehensive capital investment strategy designed to modernize park infrastructure, expand guest amenities, and secure the facility’s role as an economic and recreational engine for Southern California.
“Partnerships with private entities are foundational to expanding high-quality recreational spaces for our communities,” said Norma Edith García-González, Director of LA County Parks. “By aligning LA County Parks with Lucky Strike Entertainment, we are securing a transformative investment into Raging Waters Los Angeles, ensuring that California’s largest waterpark remains a premier, state-of-the-art summer destination for generations of families to come.”

On May 31, Lucky Strike Entertainment leaders were joined together with members from the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and Girl Scouts of Los Angeles members for the historic ribbon-cutting event, including offering free admission to thousands of community members. The event was an opportunity for Lucky Strike to communicate investment plans highlighting structural upgrades, enhanced guest experiences, and deep community integration, reinforcing the world-class summer experience millions of LA County residents depend on every year.
