Former Mayor of Arcadia and current Councilmember Paul Cheng stated the following: “I shudder to think of the consequences if AB1333 passes. If this law passes homeowners cannot protect themselves from criminals. Although we do not know what happened at the property, we know that residents should never fear protecting their homes. Crimes are rising across California for a reason. Laws are becoming criminal-friendly. Residents must tell their elected officials in Sacramento that Californians are opposed to AB1333.”
Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
