Costa Mesa – The California Entrepreneurs Alliance and South Coast Plaza hosted a Chinese New Year Celebration reception at the Jewel Court in South Coast Plaza on February 6. The event brought together business elites, and entrepreneurs from China, Asia, Europe and the United States gathered together to discuss business opportunities, expand their network, and welcome the new year.
Ms. Yue-Sai Kan, a famous Chinese philanthropist entrepreneur, who is known as a pioneer who “let the world know China and let China know the world” attended the event and shared information on her upcoming award ceremony “Outstanding Asian American Women Who Dared”.
Phoebe Chen, chairman of the California Entrepreneurs Alliance hosted the event said, “We will continue to hold high-end quality entrepreneur interaction and exchange activities, so that young entrepreneurs who have just started a business can learn from the experience of successful entrepreneurs, and make successful enterprises more successful by exchanging information and helping each other. After success, come to South Coast Plaza to enjoy more.”
Brian Chuan, Director of Travel Trade Development at South Coast Plaza, is also co-host of the event. He warmly welcomed the arrival of entrepreneurs from China, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States on behalf of South Coast Plaza.
Riley Grant, the great-grandson of the founder of South Coast Plaza attended the event and welcomed everyone. Elizabeth Segerstrom, co-managing partner of South Coast Plaza sent a special thank-you letter from New York to welcome all entrepreneurs to visit, and wished everyone a happy and healthy Year of the Snake.
Mr. Frederic Golchan, a famous French filmmaker and ambassador of the Hollywood Shanghai Film Festival, gave a passionate speech and talked about his deep friendship with the Chinese people.
South Coast Plaza’s famous Michelin restaurant Mian prepared food for the guests.
