JCOD’S Justice Connect Support Center Hits Milestone of 10,000 Service Calls

LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) proudly marked a significant milestone today by processing its 10,000th service call since its launch in October 2023.

The Justice Connect Support Center was established to reimagine and enhance support for justice-impacted individuals and their families across Los Angeles County.

The Support Center is completely free and provides linkages to critical services including housing, substance use resources, court appearance reminders and transportation to and from court.

“This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to community support, reflecting the trust our residents place in JCOD and the dedicated efforts of our team to bring transformative justice and compassionate care to all,” said JCOD Director Judge Songhai Armstead (Ret.).

The Justice Connect Support Center is toll-free at 833-LAC-JCOD (833-522-5263) and operates seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Multiple language support is available.
