Westminster, CA – The Westminster School District is actively recruiting a dedicated community leader to join its Personnel Commission, a vital three-member committee overseeing the district’s Merit System for classified employees. This appointment offers a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute significantly to the district’s operations and the broader Westminster community. The selected candidate will serve a three-year term, beginning December 1, 2024.
The Personnel Commission’s responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining rules for the classified service
- Overseeing recruitment and examination processes
- Setting proficiency standards for examinations
- Conducting disciplinary appeal hearings
- Recommending classified salary schedules
