Rowland Heights, CA — Young Kim hosted a press conference with Congressman Ed Royce, showcasing support from the Chinese American community. In attendance were Mayor Mary Su (City of Walnut), Dr. Joseph Chang (Boardmember, Hacienda La Puente Unified School District), John Hsu (STC Leadership Academy), Anne Ma (STC Leadership Academy), Cindy Liu (President, Taiwanese American Cultural Society of California), and Joyce Tsai (Former President, Walnut High School Chinese Parent Association).
“I am honored that Congressman Royce and so many Chinese community leaders I have worked with on issues important to the Chinese community trust me and support my candidacy,” said Kim. “I understand this community and am committed to being the best possible representative for this district.”
Congressman Ed Royce, who has endorsed Young Kim, said “Young has worked side by side with me to fight for the Chinese community. I can’t imagine anyone more qualified than Young to be our representative. Young is the only person that I trust to continue this important work on your behalf.”
