“Cloud and Light Troubadour” Hong Bo Art Show a Great Success

Los Angeles—an evening gala in celebration of Hong Bo painting arts was held in San Gabriel on February 28, drawing a huge audience of local artists, celebrities and community leaders.

“Cloud and Light Troubadour” Hong Bo Art Show featuring California landscape painting was successfully presented from February 10-28 at Los Angele Art Station.

Hong Bo, aka Chu Hai Tang Zhu, born in China, is the founder and director of the Chinese Painting Institute (USA), a member of China Artists Association, and serves as a guest professor at the University of California, Hainan University and Shanghai Film Art Academy.

As a trailblazer in Chinese arts, Hong Bo is committed to breaking the barriers between the East and West aesthetics, and structuring the contemporary arts with global views and open mind.

“It has become the trend of Chinese contemporary arts to return to artists’ native culture obtaining inspiration and resources,” said Hong Bo.

Hong Bo’s depiction of California landscape in Chinese painting style has drawn wide attention and recognition among artists both in China and the United States.

The art show and evening gala, planned by Zhou Zheng Intermedia Studio, was organized by California Design Center.
