The new board of American Chinese National Chamber of Commerce (ACNCC) was inaugurated on January 16 to better serve the Chinese American business community. More than 300 business leaders and local official attended the weekend gala and witnessed the ceremony.
ACNCC, evolved from US-China Motor Vehicles Import & Export Association, was officially incorporated in the State of California in 2014 with John Cheng as its founder. Over the last two years the chamber has seen significant growth in membership and influence, said Mr. Cheng. A numerous events were sponsored last year including Southern California Chinese American Photo Exhibitions held in Beijing and Tianjin, and World Overseas Chinese Products Expo.
The new board, composed of CEOs of a couple of prominent Chinese American companies, is committed to making ACNCC a platform for friendship, investment, trade, and innovation. Pursuit of honesty, integrity and virtue shall be kept in mind of each and every member of ACNCC, Mr. Cheng is quoted as saying.
Representatives from the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles also participated in the event.
